Although Kylie’s headline-grabbing appearance attracted widespread attention, sources alleged that some veteran Victoria’s Secret models were unhappy with the decision to put her in the spotlight.

Over the years, the Fantasy Bra has been worn by several of Victoria’s Secret’s most famous models, including Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Gisele Bündchen, Claudia Schiffer, and Adriana Lima.
This year, however, the prestigious honor reportedly went to Kylie, despite the fact that she had never previously walked in a Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
A source speaking to the Daily Mail claimed that Kris Jenner was thrilled her youngest daughter had secured such a major moment and had allegedly helped transform the appearance into a memorable “princess moment.”
“Of course, Kris Jenner loved that Kylie was wearing the diamond bra. Kris can sure work a deal,” the insider said.
The source further alleged that Kris wanted Kylie’s appearance to stand out and reportedly worked to make the occasion feel like a major event.
Kylie, meanwhile, was reportedly “flattered” when Victoria’s Secret approached her with the opportunity and accepted the invitation without hesitation.

The insider also suggested that Kylie recognized the promotional value of the appearance and understood that the publicity could help boost her cosmetics business.
Kylie reportedly had Kendall Jenner’s support
Kylie’s older sister, Kendall Jenner, has extensive experience as a runway model. However, she reportedly couldn’t participate in the show because of her association with Intimissimi, a competing lingerie label.
According to the source, Kendall encouraged Kylie to accept the opportunity and supported her decision to take part.
Having her family’s backing reportedly helped Kylie feel more confident about stepping into a role traditionally connected with established Victoria’s Secret Angels.

Reports suggested that Kylie’s involvement had been kept secret for several months. When some longtime models discovered she had been selected to wear the Fantasy Bra, insiders claimed they were left “speechless.”
One source told the Daily Mail that certain experienced models were disappointed to see Kylie receive so much attention.
“Some of the old-school models were not thrilled that Kylie was the center of attention,” the insider explained.
The source suggested that some established runway stars might have felt irritated watching a younger celebrity receive such a significant opportunity.

The source singled out Candice Swanepoel, who wore a Fantasy Bra in 2013, and Elsa Hosk, who modeled one in 2018.
According to the insider, neither model appeared particularly pleased during the event. However, these alleged reactions reflect the source’s interpretation, and neither woman has confirmed the claims.

The Fantasy Bra featured in the show was produced in collaboration with luxury jewelry house Jacob & Co.
According to the information released about the design, the piece contained approximately 4,410 natural diamonds with a combined weight of 1,373.39 carats.
Victoria’s Secret chief creative officer Adam Selman told Vogue that Kylie was selected because her influence reaches far beyond the fashion industry.
He described the collaboration as a chance to showcase the spectacular creation on someone with an enormous audience and significant cultural influence.
The Fantasy Bra made its debut in 1996, when Claudia Schiffer wore a design valued at $1 million. Gisele Bündchen subsequently modeled a $12.5 million version in 2005, while Elsa Hosk’s 2018 Fantasy Bra was reportedly worth $1 million.
Kylie’s diamond-covered creation was described as the most expensive Fantasy Bra ever made.
