Fans Spot Glaring ‘Mistake’ With Kylie Jenner’s $50 Million Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra

Kylie Jenner made her debut on the Victoria’s Secret runway Sunday evening, but her walk, her wings, and even the famous family members watching from the audience weren’t what attracted the most attention.

The 29-year-old beauty entrepreneur received one of the most prestigious honors of the entire fashion show, a distinction traditionally reserved for some of the most iconic supermodels in Victoria’s Secret history.
However, once fans discovered exactly what Kylie Jenner had been selected to wear, criticism quickly began pouring in.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to Los Angeles on October 18, featuring several familiar faces. Gigi and Bella Hadid appeared on the runway alongside established favorites and veteran models, including Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Elsa Hosk, Barbara Palvin, Irina Shayk, and Ashley Graham.
For Kylie, however, the evening marked her first appearance at the show.
Her mother, Kris Jenner, and boyfriend Timothée Chalamet were among those in attendance, cheering her on as she walked the runway.
Yet one particular element of her outfit immediately distinguished her from the other models.
The Detail
Kylie had been selected to showcase the Fantasy Bra.
And this was no ordinary Fantasy Bra.
Designed in partnership with luxury jewelry company Jacob & Co., the exclusive creation carried an astonishing estimated value of $50 million, reportedly making it the most expensive Fantasy Bra ever presented in the show’s history.

The spectacular design incorporated approximately 4,410 natural diamonds weighing a combined 1,373.39 carats, complemented by an elaborate diamond fringe. Its centerpiece was an enormous 75.54-carat Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond.
According to jeweler Jacob Arabo, the design contained no fabric, making the intricate piece especially difficult to construct in a way that allowed it to move naturally as its wearer walked the runway.
However, longtime Victoria’s Secret fans weren’t primarily upset about its extraordinary price tag.
Their biggest objection concerned the person chosen to wear it.
Fans Erupt
The Fantasy Bra has historically represented one of the most prestigious traditions associated with the Victoria’s Secret runway show.
Throughout the years, the coveted piece has been worn by some of the modeling industry’s most recognizable names, including Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Gisele Bündchen, Claudia Schiffer, and Adriana Lima.
Given that legacy, Kylie’s selection quickly became a controversial decision.
Some viewers believed awarding such a significant moment to someone making her Victoria’s Secret runway debut was unfair to experienced Angels and other models who had spent years representing the brand.
“Kylie Jenner got the fantasy bra… cancel this sh** right now,” one frustrated critic wrote.
“This is UNACCEPTABLE,” another person declared, according to reports.
A third viewer challenged the decision, asking: “Out of literally anyone ever why the F**K did they put the fantasy bra on Kylie Jenner.”
Other reactions were even more severe.

“Kylie Jenner must’ve paid to get the Fantasy Bra because in what world would she have been picked in 2026,” one commenter suggested.
Another criticized the brand’s creative direction, writing: “Victoria’s Secret truly out of creativity. Most expensive and yet the most basic. And a kardashian/jenner to cheapen it more.”
One disappointed viewer expressed frustration with the entire show, writing: “The Victoria’s Secret show was so underwhelming this year. So boring i feel bad for the models who have been there for VS for so long watching Kylie Jenner of all ppl with the fantasy bra???”
The fit of the extraordinarily expensive creation also became a subject of debate.
“Forget the sheer skirt, the bra doesn’t fit her at all it looks so bad,” one viewer commented.
Another person offered a similarly blunt assessment: “The bra doesn’t fit her.”
“Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the fantasy bra DOESNT EVEN FIT Kylie?” a third viewer questioned.
Victoria’s Secret Explains
Victoria’s Secret, however, seemingly understood that choosing Kylie to wear the Fantasy Bra would generate considerable attention.
The brand’s chief creative officer, Adam Selman, explained that her influence extends well beyond the conventional fashion industry, making her a suitable choice for the direction the company wanted to pursue.
