Old Veteran goes viral for special birthday wish to President Trump ahead of his 104th birthday

Denver Moore, a World War II veteran residing in Canal Fulton, Ohio, is gearing up to celebrate an extraordinary milestone—his 104th birthday on May 15. However, this isn’t just any birthday celebration; Moore has a very special guest in mind: former President Donald Trump.

In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Moore expressed his admiration for Trump, stating, “So far, he’s my favorite president. And Biden was my worst.” To make his birthday wish known, Moore recorded a heartfelt TikTok video on March 23, where he directly invited Trump to his birthday party. In the video, he said, “President Trump… I’m gonna be 104 in May, and I’m inviting you to my birthday party in Canal Fulton. I got to vote for you again, and I hope I can vote for you some more.”

The video quickly gained traction, amassing over 700,000 views within just ten days. Since then, Moore has received an outpouring of warm messages and birthday cards from across the United States and even as far away as Africa.

A Life of Service and Simplicity

Moore’s remarkable life began on a farm in Noble County, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II for three and a half years. After his military service, he dedicated two decades to the U.S. Postal Service. Moore was married to his late wife, Thelma Lee, for 75 years until her passing in 2022 at the age of 95. Together, they raised three children and built a life centered around family, hard work, and commitment.

Currently, Moore resides at Danbury Senior Living in Massillon, just south of Cleveland. He remains mentally sharp and physically active, with caregivers and family members noting that he enjoys staying busy and can even recite the alphabet backward—a skill he learned over 80 years ago.

The Secret to a Long Life

Moore attributes his longevity to staying physically active, a habit he developed from a young age on the family farm. He explained, “I was always active, doing something. I carried mail for 20 years, walking, and that was good. I grew up on a farm. We did everything. And if we didn’t have anything to do, we created something. So it’s just this: stay active.”

In addition to physical activity, Moore shared a piece of romantic advice: “Marry the right woman and live with her all of her life,” he said with a smile.

A National Celebration

Since the release of his birthday invitation video, Moore has been inundated with kind messages and well wishes. Kelli Beckler, the executive director at Danbury Senior Living, remarked on the overwhelming response, stating, “People from all over the country have been sending him birthday cards and cheering him on.”

While it remains uncertain whether President Trump will accept the invitation, Moore’s spirit, patriotism, and unwavering energy have already made his upcoming 104th birthday a national celebration. As the day approaches, the community and beyond continue to rally around this remarkable veteran, honoring his life and legacy.
